Board of Directors

President: Tiffany Roe

  

Tiffany Roe and has lived in the Springfield area most of her life. For over 15 years she has worked for a medical device manufacturer and co-founded of the former non-profit Land of Lincoln Bookshare. Tiffany is a lifelong reader, who feels you can never have too many books, and also the doting aunt to an amazing niece. She looks forward to sharing her love of reading by supporting Lincoln Library and engaging with our community.

Secretary: Litina Carnes

Litina (Tina) Carnes is a lifelong resident of Springfield. She has been married for 34 years and has three adult sons and three grandsons. In addition to being an avid reader, Tina is looking forward to connecting with the Springfield community through the collaborative efforts of the Lincoln Library Alliance.

Lincoln Library Director: Summer Beck-Griffith

 Summer is a director with a vision for what a Library system in Springfield could be. She believes thriving cities have thriving libraries. She is passionate about equal access to resources for all people and relentless in the pursuit of working together to solve complex problems.  She is a Springfield native who after spending 11 years in KCMO brought her family to her hometown. 

Cris Cray

Lincoln Library Board of Trustees Liaison and Fundraising Committee

Cris joined the Lincoln Library Board as a Trustee in 2016.  She is a longtime resident of the Springfield area.  Cris has also spent many years as an active board member or volunteer with many local organizations.

Renee Bell

Membership and Volunteer Committee

Renee has over 30 years of not-for-profit work under her belt. She has experience in literacy, youth development and housing.  Her first job was as a page at Lincoln Library. She has a bachelor’s in mass communications from University of Missouri-St. Louis and a Master of Management from Fontbonne University. She has a strong conviction that reading is fundamental for positive change and growth.
